New Year, New Baby, New Camera :)

For Christmas, I was surprised by getting the DSLR Camera that I had been eyeing up for quite some time.  Needless to say I have been playing around with it ever since.  In Love.  Some random Christmas morning, evening, and just hanging around the house.

Hurricane Irene

We didn't have any damage or tree's down with the storm even though the wind was SCARY.  We even managed to keep power the whole time.

Randoms From Last PA Trip

We snuck in a trip to my moms before the boat trip and OBX. Here are some pics making good use of the pool!  This was just a few short days before Brooke said bye bye to her swim vets!

4th of July

This year is the first year our picnic got rained on, but it didn't get rained out.  The 4th of July means a lot of things to us, but it is extra special to our family, because we get to see family from Arizona that we only get to see once a year.  It is always a blast to get everyone together, adults and kids alike.  We didn't let the rain get us down, and this year lived up to its expectations. (When my SIL is around I don't even bother bringing my camera...Thanks for the great shots Kris!)

 

In The Meantime

While Eric and I were at the doctors, the kids were with my SIL.  Among other things, they got to feed a venus fly trap!  How cool!
