Mommy is finally writing the journal entry for February!
Well Brooke is becoming quite the 2 year old, vocabulary and all. It sometimes gets interesting out in public as she is very observant with everything involving her baby brother. While out to lunch with some old co-workers, I began feeding a bottle to Brandon when Brookes starts saying, "Mommy's pump, Mommy's pump" getting louder and louder each time she said it until I answered her by saying yes Mommy's pump. (As you can guess she watched me pump it earlier in the day.) The best part......the three co-workers....all men....good thing they all found it amusing.
Other saying Mommy unintentionally taught Brooke:
"Don't pee on me please Brandon"
"Get out of here Dog" (you can imagine the tone)
Some more sayings to come next month.
Brandon is doing the usual baby things this month. He is becoming much more active and alert, not to mention eating non stop. Unlike Brooke at this age, he enjoys having his diaper changed....specifically the part where he is diaperless.....hopefully he grows out of this stage or we could be in trouble. He is quite the puker these days as well. We go through about 5 or so bibs a day. I am used to this because I am home with him all day. Daddy on the other hand is not so used to it. After puking on one of daddy's shirt, I offered Eric a burp cloth, which he refused. A few short minutes after Daddy changed his shirt.....yep....Brandon got Daddy again. Eric should have taken the burp cloth! I found this very amusing....as you can guess...Daddy did not! His eye's are still blue....we are hoping they stay that way.
