Catch Up

Life has gotten in the way of this blog most recently.  I tried to upload all of Brooke's school pictures, and the upload failed me, discouraged I haven't been back much since.

Brandon and Pre-School

Yesterday September 5th, Brandon had his first official day of preschool.  I sent him with Brooke for 2 weeks in June to ease the transition come this fall, and it worked perfectly.  He went in, with out a tear and didn't look back.  My favorite moment of the morning was all of his sweet goodbye kisses for me, Brooke and Leah.  He is such a sweet little boy.  I didnt take any pictures of him at school because it was pouring rain, but these are the pictures from home. 

I feel like it was just yesterday that I was saying the same things about Brooke.  Today is her first day of kindergarten. 

Attention

Leah already makes her presence known, and loves getting attention.  These are some of her many faces!

Sweet Leah

There is nothing easier to take pictures of, than a sweet little baby.  The sun was coming in the front window, and while her light pink outfit washed her out a bit, I still had to snap some pictures of her.  These are just a few days shy of her 8 month birthday....no stats until the 9 month visit.

 

 

Teething

She has trouble getting toys into her mouth, but boy does she love to chew on her fingers!  Constantly in her mouth, what can I say...Well I think this sums it up.  Sorry!

A Walk In The Park

I hadn't been quite brave enough to conquer the lake beaches and the parks earlier in the season due to the addition of Leah.  I don't know whether it was the sun factor or just the idea of having to pack up all the kids, and all of their stuff, a chair for me, and everything else involved in a morning or afternoon at the lake so we started later this season than normal.

We picked an afternoon when the playground was mostly in the shade, for Leah to enjoy her first swing ride, and enjoy she did!

 

First Tooth

Today, August 20th, 2012, Leah's first tooth broke through her gumline, and she is NOT happy about it.  Let us see how long before she gets her second tooth!  Love her and all of her little drool bubbles.

Random

This is a random picture of my boy, but I think he is adorable.

BBQ

We spent the night with our recently engaged friends, letting the kids stay up late and run around at the first bbq of the summer.

Before my sisters maternity leave ended we were able to get the cousins together, not nearly enough pictures were taken, but we had a great week together.

Strawberry Picking

With all of us dressed in rainboots, we braved the muddy strawberry fields this year.  We successfully filled our containers with only a few berries losing their way into our bellies as we picked.
