BounceU

Love this place in Exton! Brooke and Brandon loved this place so much we have already been twice! It has been so empty both times we have been that we were able to sneak Brandon into some of the inflatables. Mimi and I were able to enjoy it too. You don't realize how high the slide is until you get to the top! Tons of fun! Not to many pics but you can get the idea.

Comfortable...Really?

It seriously looks like he was sitting up and just got too tired to sit anymore, and fell over...in half. If you look really hard, you can see his left foot sticking out (he is wearing little navy blue socks)

You can see his right leg completely underneath him, sticking out his left side

Bathtime

I think he wants seconds...

Shy

Is not what Brooke is...

She does not stop talking. She will talk to just about anyone, about anything. The past week we were taking a wagon ride and she started talking to some random neighbor about how she was helping feed Brandon his snack while I was pulling them in the wagon.

Today, we had the water softner guy come and he went out to his truck to get something. Brooke followed him upstairs and then yelled "where are you" to the poor guy. Luckily he was outside.

When he was done and was trying to get me to sign the paperwork, she tried to talk to him about her horse magnet, and then tried to show him her pink and purple cell phone.

She really never stops. It could be someone in the grocery store or our poor neighbor trying to do yard work...but it is kinda cute for now :)

Random Pics From Today

They never "outgrow" the Bumbo

Not sure why, but I love this one (even though he was spying on our neighbor)

Timeout?

This time of year, it is a no brainer that there is A LOT of basketball on in our house. I found it pretty amusing when Brooke asked Eric why the basketball guy was having a "timeout". She wanted to know what he did to get one!

I know she is mine, but I just want to squeeze her she is so cute sometimes!

Brandon's First Hair Cut

Just shy of 14 months

Well....WE survived. It was all fun and games until they brought out the little cape to cover him. Not only did that require moving is drink, but it covered up his arms as well. NOT A FAN...AT ALL!!

So I snapped a few pics and then saved the little man with his blanket. I am SO glad I brought it. There he was, hunched over, almost in half, snuggling his blanket and holding onto it for dear life. Like maybe if he held it tight enough, everything would just go away and it would be all over. It stopped the tears, but he still looked terrified!

After a lot of mommy kisses and a lollypop, he started to come around...and by the end he was "okay" with the whole thing. To top it off, they gave him a little rubby ducky toy that was perfect for him to chew on! (1st year molars will be talked about in a later post...uggg...how much I hate molars!!)

I love the new "do" and now he really looks like a little man! I am sad he is old enough that he needed it cut, but I am glad I did.

Day At The Park

We had and awesome day at the park, topped off by ice cream from Coldstone. The first of many to come this season.

.

Youngest Twilight Fan?

When you think of vampires, you don't usually think of a 13 month old.

I was washing my hands in the bathroom when all of a sudden I hear Brooke screaming that Brandon bumped her. In my head I was thinking how in the heck did he hit her that hard that she is crying in obvious instant pain yet there is not a sound from him...As I get to the room and get her calmed down (still Brandon was as happy as could be) I realized Brooke was saying he "bite" me.

lo and behold on her right arm were 4 nice teeth marks....

He has gotten me before so I know that must have hurt BAD. Poor little thing! It took her awhile to recover from it. Luckily he didn't break the skin, but it is a nice shade of purple today.

I am just glad she didn't bite back!

These pictures were taken about 6 hours after it happened...

Sunshine

Everyone including the Selander clan is enjoying the sunshine and warm(er) weather. Brooke thinks it is summer time, and time to bust out the pool. We're getting there.

Excuse the nasty back door, add it to the list of things we need to change around here!

Baby Obsession

The refrigerator. I am not really sure why Brandon is OBSESSED with it....but the bottom line is that he is. No matter who's house it is, as soon as the door opens, he makes a beeline for it. And when he gets there, he doesn't really try to get much. Maybe he is a fan of the cold air? I would say he is just a fan of opening and closing doors, but as you can see by the following picture, forget the door, the the boy the fridge....
