4th of July 2012

We spend every 4th of July with Eric's family from AZ.  They always come out for the week, and we really enjoy each other's company, this year being no different.  Even little Sierra, recently stiched up after her first trip to the ER, managed to have a good time!

Leah 6 Month Stats

At 6 months old, Leah is:

-Sitting unassisted for short period of time, much longer in the boppy
-Loves her jumperoo
-Still a horrendous sleeper
-Starting to clap
-Loves her hands and feet
-No rolling really, somewhat concerned but babies do skip steps, she might go fright from sitting to crawling (we will re-evaluate this at 9mo)
-Eating baby food at lunch and dinner (only every few days due to severe constipation issues, even with non constipating foods)
-NO teeth

15lb14oz - 30th percentile
25" - 15th percentile
Head circumference is 17" - down to 75th percentile from the 90th

Safe to say she is slowing down a bit, and growing into her head :)

OBX 2012 Part 1

I need to go back and catch up on the month of June.  We were inundated with visitors, and I wouldn't have had it any other way!  For now, we will talk about OBX.

Our traditions haven't changed much....racecars, beach, pool, fireworks and crab catching at night....Its fun to look back and see how much bigger the kids have gotten since we started this 3yrs ago.  The one special treat we were in for this year, was being able to celebrate my Grandfathers 83rd birthday with him.

Here is photo dump #1 from my moms camera.

Memorial Day

We spent the weekend together as a family, with a little visit from Mimi and Doc.  The kids got the chance to stay up late, and enjoy the parades in town.

Leah- 4 Month Stats

Okay, so I am a little behind on posting about our family.  I guess that's what happens when you have 3kids and join pinterest.

At 4 months old Leah is:
24" - 25th percentile
14lbs - 50th percentile

Her head is still coming in at the 95th percentile, she will grow into it eventually we hope :)

This month she went from being my best baby, and sleeper, to the WORST sleeper.  I dont' knwo if she is just used to nursing at night, or if she is really hungry, but it has been a challenge.  I know it is only a phase and won't last for ever, but some nights are simply exhausting.

She still only rolls to her side from her back, has rolled from her belly to her back onces and loathes being on her stomach.  She has great head control and is cooking like crazy.  I love her smiles, laughs and they she talks to me when she is on her way to sleep.  She is grabbign toys, but nothing makes it into her mouth besides her hands.
